A place where a huge rock stands on a slope but never slides
The specialty of this rock is, it never slides down though it is located on the edge, on the upper surface of the slope of the hill in the park. Also it’s not so, that the rock is very small in size and light in weight. The weight of the rock is almost 250 tons, and its diameter is 5 meters. We are talking about the diameter of the rock, because it’s almost spherical in shape, except from back, where it is hollow. The length of a spherical rock is equal to its diameter. A spherical object slides better on slopes, as its base covers only a very small portion on the ground, and this makes it more suspicious, how this rock (Krishna’s butterball) is still holding itself on the slope. It’s totally against gravitational laws of physics (a branch of science) as well.
It has been said that in ancient times, many of the kings and people in the government tried to remove this huge stone from its current position, as it looked dangerous in that position, but they were not successful. Even the help of several elephants was taken to remove the stone from its position on the slope, but all the efforts gone in vain, and the rock remained stick to its location. It seems like some boon is working behind this mystery. I said this because this rock exists from ancient times, and in ancient times people had the power to give curse and boon to others. If you have read or seen the epic of Ramayana, you will know there were two apes called Nal and Neel in Lord Rama’s army, who were being cursed by a Rishie (Sage), whatever they will throw in the sea will not sink and float. This curse became boon for Rama’s army, and this way Lord Rama’s army was able to create bridge on the sea, with the help of stones that never used to sink. You can read more about this in another article A holy place where once stones floated on sea .
There are many other places in the world where such rocks are disobeying the rules of physics. These are called gravity defying rocks. You can watch this youtube video where there is mentioned about 5 amazing places in the world, where you can find such gravity defying rocks. These places are in Norway, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and India. If you want to see pictures of Krishna’s Butterball from 5 to 6 different angles than visit amusingplanet.com . You will find its somewhat hollow from back when viewed from back angle. From back, it looks like a container such as bowl. Lord Krishna (incarnation of Lord Vishnu) used to eat butter in such a bowl, and thats why the name Krishnas butterball.
