A place in India famous for IIT Coaching
Kota is the place (a city) in the Indian state of Rajasthan which is famous for IIT coaching. There are many reputable coaching institutes in Kota offering coaching for the IIT. The main reason the city of Kota is famous as the maximum number of students clearing the IIT entrance exams in the past took the coaching from any of the Kota coaching centers.
According to Hindustan Times, 41 students among the top 100 selected in the IITJEE 2016 took the coaching from any of the Kota-based institutes. Allen Career Institute's Aman Bansal topped the exams. Allen Career Institute is most famous in Kota for IIT coaching. In 2017, there were a total of 6289 students from Allen Career Institute who cleared the IITJEE exams and in 2016 there were 3883 students who cleared.
Lucknow topper Lakshya with all India rank (AIR) 10 in IITJEE 2017 also took the IIT coaching from one of the institute's in the city of Kota, Rajasthan.
Resonance is another famous coaching institute in the city of Kota whose 6241 students were selected in the IITJEE entrance exams 2017 and 5111 students were selected in the year 2016.
These IIT coaching institutes from Kota offer both classroom contact program (CCP) and distance learning program (DLP) + e-learning program (ELP). That is the reason even if you are not able to attend the regular classes at their coaching centers, you can join their distance learning program and you will get the learning material at home in that case.
In 2017, out of 6241 Resonance students who were selected for the IITJEE, 4095 were learning from home via the Resonance's distance learning course material.
FIITJEE is another famous institute, but it is located in New Delhi, which prepares you for IITJee entrance exams very early in the 9th class itself. You can immediately join FIITJEE after clearing your 8th class and the next 4 years this institute will prepare you for the board exams as well as the IITJEE. IITJEE entrance exams are held after you have given the 12th class board exams.
